The West Virginia Plant participates in the Adopt-A-Highway program and adopted the River Bend Road (West Virginia Stata Highway) to help keep it clean. In fiscal 2014, employees continued with the cleanup efforts along the road.
Adopt-A-Highway Program: A system for residents’ organizations and companies that have adopted a section of trunk road to carry out cleanups and tree planting. In return, municipal governments install a “foster parent” sign on the relevant section of highway. The companies taking part can advertise their involvement in social contribution.
