On Saturday, July 23, our employee volunteers picked up trash from Hisaya-odori Park in front of the new head office to Shirakawa Park in Fushimi. This activity was held as a joint event with the NPO HAPPY PLANET, and a total of about 30 people including volunteers and children from outside the company participated.
It was a very hot day blessed with good weather, but we worked for about an hour while paying attention to hydration. The participants were surprised at the amount of garbage found between the bushes and near the curb of the road, and collected approximately 61 kg of garbage, including plastic umbrellas, plastic bottles, cigarette butts, and food bags!
