NTK Technologies has donated to the Hakone Foundation, which operated the Hakone Gardens located in the nearby City of Saratoga every year since 2009. As the oldest Japanese garden in the Western Hemisphere, Hakone Gardens has been designated as a heritage site. Every year in May, the Hakone Festival is held in the gardens.
